Babaji's Kriya Yoga - Attersee, Austria - Kriya Loka

Kriya Loka ‘home of yoga’ is a small Yoga centre in Abtsdorf am Attersee in Upper Austria. It is located in the idyllic Salzkammergut region, close to Lake Attersee and surrounded by the Höllengebirge mountains, with easy access to the motorway, approx. 50 km from Salzburg and 80 km from Linz.

Under the guidance of Acharya Brahmananda, Kriya Loka offers initiations into Babaji's Kriya Yoga, year-round Hatha Yoga courses as well as other events to prepare for, learn and deepen Kriya Yoga.

Kriya Loka offers a family atmosphere with an open-plan communal kitchen and a small lounge, which can also be used as an alternative practice room or overnight accommodation for 2 to 3 people. A separate outbuilding with a 45 m² yoga room is available for events or group courses.
Camping in the garden area is possible on request.
During the initiation seminars, participants travelling from outside the region can also be accommodated in the surrounding guesthouses or hotels.

Various events are regularly offered at the yoga centre. These include 3 to 4 first initiations into Babaji's Kriya Yoga each year, as well as one second initiation. In addition, Hatha Yoga classes are held twice a week, while every fortnight there is the opportunity to participate in a group meeting for breathing exercises, meditation and mantras. Other programmes include satsang, sadhana days, workshops and spiritual festivals such as Mahashivaratri, Babaji Jayanti, etc.

On request, kriyabans can retreat for individual and deepening practice, if desired with counselling support from Brahmananda, who lives next door.
