Badrinath Ashram Construction Plans

Badrinath ashram construction has progressed rapidly this summer. The hardwood floor and wooden ceiling panels of the meditation hall, and the walls and ceilings of the yoga hall, office, bookstore, and twelve of the apartments have been completed. The meditation hall and 12 of the 18 planned apartments are on track to be completed by early November. Twenty five Nepalese workers, and three sadhaks from the West, Acharya Amman from Canada, Jay Finch from New York, and Albert Vogt from Germany are currently assisting in the construction.

We are planning a group pilgrimage there from September 24 to October 13, 2015.  Details are at Badrinath Pilgrimage.

Pilgrimages

 "Blessings from India!

"Back from the pilgrimage to India, it's impossible for me to write about the experience without limiting it. I feel very grateful for the trip organized by Satchidananda and Durga. We haven't wasted time, we have been in very powerful places, well guided in every moment. The group practice of yoga had been really precious to integrate and reinforce the experiences; there you can specially apreciate the great value of the techniques learned. It is an indescribable blessing to meditate in specific places of India...

Mother India is a land sanctified by thousand years of spiritual practices of seekers of Truth, in all its expressions and shades; there one can directly experience the peace that results from surrendering to a higher power than one's self, the peace of being part of the mandala of the Divine Creation, where everything has its proper place. One would wish to keep this peace forever inside. Through the practice of Kriya Yoga we can, at least, create India wherever we are.

Next pilgrimage will be in 2014, so if you are interested in it, you have one year to save money and organize yourself. The trip, of course, is worth value. I hope to return again."
